4:Blue Light-Blocking Glasses: Consider wearing blue light-blocking glasses, especially when using digital devices for an extended period. These glasses have specialized lenses that filter out a significant portion of blue light.
5:Proper Lighting: Ensure that the lighting in your environment is appropriate. Use warm or neutral-colored lighting instead of harsh, cool-toned lighting, especially in the evening. This can help balance the exposure to blue light.
6:Sleep Hygiene: Establish a consistent sleep routine and prioritize good sleep hygiene. Create a dark and conducive sleep environment, avoid electronic devices for at least an hour before bedtime, and consider using dimmer lighting in the evening.
7:Eye Care: Practice good eye care habits, such as taking regular breaks from screen use, practicing the 20-20-20 rule (looking at an object 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes), and keeping your eyes moisturized with artificial tears if needed.
